The nearby river and lake vanished β an unprecedented event. The team followed the riverbed for only a few meters before finding themselves in an entirely new environment. There, a massive rock formation and what appeared to be a submerged cave were revealed.
This cave wasnβt ordinary. Its shape was geometric and unnaturally precise, growing more intricate the deeper it went. Upon studying the formation, the archaeologists began to suspect that this was not a natural lake or river at all. Instead, they proposed a radical theory: the river was formed by the impact of a colossal object falling from the sky β and the cave was what remained of the crash site.
