This image started as a test for sketching a 3D scene in blender to see how it could help speed up my painting process. But I was feeling stuck once I got to the paint over phase and I ended up doing a more graphical painting. I did not end up saving time with the 3D. I was a bit all over the place for this one, but I learned a lot about painting with graphic shapes. I was impressed by how a few hard brush strokes and simple 2-3 values can convey a lot.
