Purana: Bhadrakali

Bhadrakali is a terrifying manifestation of Goddess Kali, the fierce form of the mother goddess. She is depicted with three eyes, four/sixteen/eighteen hands and wielding a trident with flames and fumes flowing from her head and sharp teeth or tusks jutting from her mouth. She hold the severed heads of asuras in one hand and weapons in others. Her tongue is bright red from drinking the blood of her enemies and she wears a garland made of severed heads and skulls.
